Train livery & surface refurbishment
Making sure rolling stock looks great and stays that way, starts with surface preparation. Working with industry approved fillers, paints and cleaning solutions, which not only allow for great aesthetics but also ensure durability and extend the life of the units, is fundamental.
SSDM has invested heavily in expanding its dedicated and fully trained body repair and application teams and is now an approved body repairer for Siemens and Porterbrook and is also part of the Achilles Link-up scheme.
Once the body repair and preparation has taken place, the graphic stage of the re-livery or rebranding project can commence in earnest using a combination of appropriate materials for both the internal and external surfaces.
